About:
Based in Breckenridge, Colorado.
Standing at the start of a trail, I can see what is in front of me, the first few bounds of a journey ahead. The first stroke of paint, sharing with friends, the checklist of how to start a business. This feels doable, this feels like I know what I need to do - one foot in front of the other. A quick glimpse up and I see the summit. Where I envision myself, a daily practice, sitting in a sunny studio, a steady monthly income, a style of art that feels most like me. But first, an effortless bound into the journey ahead. The first step takes courage, but the middle takes grit. The middle of the trail is unknown. My body tells me I'm tired, my mind tells me to go back, damn maybe a desk job would have been easier on me after all. The middle is messy, it's hard, there's ups and downs, there's highs and lows. But one thing is for sure those highlight moments feel so damn incredible and something tells me that the summit is behind the bend up ahead. I've reached the summit! The endorphins are consuming me, the painting is done, the goal has been reached. I look down and smile at the journey I just completed, and laugh a little at the times I doubted myself. I then look ahead at the vast landscape and realize this is just one mountain in a whole sea of them - now I'm hooked and crave to summit them all. I want to see where every trail will take me, what it will make me feel, what I will learn, how I will grow. Always remembering when I summited that first mountain and how I want to devote boundless energy into every future trail to come.

Paper: Archival fine art printing on archival textured Somerset Velvet paper.
Signed and titled on the front by the artist!
